Our Sustainability Commitment
As a UK-based specialized electronics manufacturer, we take active measures to draw off a local supplier network wherever possible in order to reduce the GHG emissions associated with parts and materials procurement of our manufacturing activity. We have recently added solar panels to our primary manufacturing facility in Stewartby as well as adopting electric vehicles and on-site electric vehicle charging points as part of our business activities. We’ve moved away from propane-based (fossil fuel) heating for our R&D headquarters, shifting to a more energy-efficient, electrical-based centralized heating and cooling system. All of these activities form part of our ongoing commitment to reduce our GHG emissions.
Spicer Consulting Limited commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 21% by 2028 from a 2023 base year. Between 2023 and 2024, Spicer Consulting has already reduced its net scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions by 10.7% in our commitment towards meeting the 21% target by 2028.
